Dr. Shatrudhan Dangi

Dr.shatrugan Dangi was born on 10th oct.1940in a well to do farmer family in Danginagar law in Tekari of Gaya district. His fathers sri Daljeet singh dangi and mother’s name Smt.Laxmi Devi were very humble persons. He was very intelligent from his childhood. He completed his middle and high school from Tekari and completed
his graduation from Gaya .He completed his M. A and Ph.d from Magadh university. He is well known of various languages like Marathi, Gujrati, Bangla, Asamees, Bundeli, Malvi, Awadhi ,Nepali he also find out Angi language.

His name in included in pratiyogita Darpan for his contribution in.archaeology.His research work “Pryaten. Ki Dristi me Bodh Gaya ”
made him famous in Bihar Govt. And later on due to his efforts Bodhgaya enlisted in world Heritage. He was honoured by Governor of Bihar, Mr.R.S.Gawai for.contribution in Bodhgaya temple.

He is the one who bring all dangis under one head not from only India but from world. He worked a lot for the enrollment of our caste in Mandal commission list in backward category. He worked for the upliftment of our people by removing child marriage and against dowry system. He is famous for his well known writing in magazines like Rastria Sahara, Delhi Varta, Hindustan Samachar etc.His famous book named”Dangi Itihas “is published in 2016. He organised various national and International sabhaj to unit dangis from different parts of world. Now also he is benefitting Dangi samaj by giving his valuable guide lines and bringing ideas by his experiences. DWO is always appreciating and giving regards for his contribution. Dangi Ratna Samman is a part of it.

Mahendra Prasad

Sri Mahendra Prasad is Principal District judge in jharkhand and at present serving as Secretary Vidhan Sabha , Jharkhamd.
He is socialist and humanitarian in nature since his student life. He was a very briliant student being topper in Matric (BSEB) of his school Sarvodaya High School, Sughari.

He born on 10th January 1962 at village Sughari, P.S. Govindpur,District Nawada in a middle class farmer family. His father late Sh. Prasadi Singh was a farmer and his mother late Srimati Surji Davi was a house maker. However, his parents were very much intrested for his education.
The said village Sughari is heritage for “Dangi” and “Kakolat waterfall” is well known memory of Dangi history.

Mr. Prasad went to Bihar Sharif for higher education and completed his I.Sc & B.Sc (Honrs) from Kisan College, Sohsarai and LL.B. from Anugrah Narayan College,Gaya, under Magadh University and he topped in LL.B.Part I and got credential in legal field.

Mr. Prasad joined Bar as Advocate at Civil Court Gaya. After some time, he sifted his practice to Civil Court Nawada on suggestion of his father and need of the society as there was no practicing advocate of Dangi Society.

Meanwhile, Sri Prasad qualified Bihar Judicial Services examination and become a Judge. He joined Bihar Judicial services in 1995 and the first joining was at land of Gupta dynasty, Munger.

During his service, he served at different posts and positions in different civil court and after division he has been allotted Jharkhand Cadre. He also worked as Mediation Judge in lok Adalat and DALSA. Mr. Prasad is presently working at prestigious place at Jharkhand Legislative Assembly as Secretary and in this tenure he got occassion to welcome to Hon,ble Prime Minister, Sri Narendra Modi on the occassion Annuagration of New House of Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha.
